What is LDL Cholesterol?
LDL (Low-Density Lipoprotein) cholesterol carries cholesterol to your arteries. When levels are too high, it can build up in artery walls, forming plaques.
Why LDL Cholesterol Matters
Often called 'bad' cholesterol, elevated LDL is a major risk factor for heart disease and stroke. Particle size and number may be more important than total LDL.
Symptoms of Low LDL Cholesterol

- May affect hormone production at very low levels
Symptoms of High LDL Cholesterol

- Increased stroke risk
- Heart disease risk
